Terms and Conditions for Pets Boarding with Hill Farm Kennels

Some sample Terms you can edit to suit your business

Pets should arrive before 3.00pm to give our staff plenty of time to settle them in; we reserve the right to refuse to accept late arrivals.

Pre-Booking Visits

We encourage you to visit our kennels before boarding your pet for the first time; we are happy to show you round the kennels and cattery and answer your questions at any time during our opening hours.

All dogs must hold a current vaccination certificate for Hepatitis, Distemper, Leptospirosis and Parvovirus. During the summer months (April to October inclusive) they must be protected against Infectious Bronchitis (also known as kennel cough).

All vaccinations should be completed 2 weeks before boarding and your certificate must be produced when you bring your pet to be boarded. If you forget to bring your vaccination certificate we can confirm by phone with your veterinary surgery, but this is only possible during surgery hours.

All cats must be fully vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Feline Influenza. We recommend vaccination against Feline Leukaemia. Please bring your vaccination certificate when you bring you cat in for boarding.

Charging Policy

We charge every day your pet is with us.

A deposit of £20 for each dog kennel and cat pen is required to confirm a booking, though during peak periods and for larger than usual bookings we may request a bigger deposit.

Deposits are non-refundable. However if a one week's notice of cancellation is given (two weeks notice during peak periods) the deposit will be credited towards a future booking, less a £10 admin fee.

Balance of Account

This is payable before your pet leaves our accommodation. We accept credit/debit cards, cash or, at our discretion, cheques accompanied by a valid cheque card. We reserve the right to request this payment to be made in cash at any time before admittance of pet(s) for boarding and reserve the right to refuse admission should this payment not be forthcoming.

All necessary medication must be supplied with clear instructions on administration. In most cases medication can be continued at no extra charge.

Veterinary Care

Your pet is covered for any condition that arises as a result of their stay at Hill Farm Kennels.  Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
